Sixth Form Development

A 6th form offers students one of the best opportunities to progress into an exciting and challenging career and to have experiences that will support their development as world citizens.

We are here to support our students to develop academic and interpersonal skills which are both valued by university admission tutors and employers alike.

The transition from school to Post-16 is a difficult one and the role of parents is crucial if the transition is to be a success.

More importantly, we recognise that you, as parents, have a vital role to play in supporting your son or daughter to success in their studies.

Regular reports and parents’ evenings will provide direct communication on the progress of your son or daughter, along with their Personal Tutor who will provide a direct link to the Sixth Form. We actively encourage you to attend the Open Evenings and other information events with your son or daughter, so that you can offer them edvice and guidance.
